Lubricating oil is a thick fatty oil, commonly known as engine oil, used to make the parts of a machine move smoothly. It creates a separating film between surfaces of adjacent moving parts to minimize direct contact between them, decreasing heat caused by friction and reducing wear. CIMAC is an organization that provides guidelines on the lubrication of medium-speed engines. It is essential to maintain the controlled oil by eliminating the potential contamination from the fuel impurities. This study uses the lubricating oil testing method, the ASTM method, to evaluate the quality, performance, and characteristics of different lube oils and fuel oils used in various industrial applications. The proper use of lubricating oil also helps in matching oil change intervals, minimizing maintenance needs, and ensuring optimal engine performance under extreme conditions by maintaining viscosity. Ten test services lubricating test has been carried out.en_US
